Thank you for considering donating to Domestic Violence Service Management’s (DVSM) important work in building individual and community safety and wellbeing. Your donation will significantly help take DVSMs work further forward.  Donations are used to support DVSM initiatives.

DVSM delivers direct services to people seeking support. We also seek to support people indirectly who may not want, nor be safe enough, to talk directly with service providers.

A key DVSM initiative is Insight Exchange centres on the expertise of people with lived experiences of violence to inform and strengthen social, service and systemic responses to Domestic and Family Violence.

Insight Exchange gives visibility to how violence is deliberate and social, and how people resist and respond to violence to uphold their dignity and to create safety both for themselves and the people they care about. Insight Exchange gives voice and visibility to these experiences; to human dignity, the injustice of preventable suffering, harm, grief and loss, and foregrounds the role of society, services and systems to redress violence.

DVSM is no longer accepting donated goods.

As part of our commitment to uphold people’s dignity and choice, we want the people that we support to be in control of selecting the items they need. As this has not always matched the goods that have been donated, we’ve taken the step to no longer accept donated items.

If you already have items to donate we recommend you donate these to registered charities that can efficiently match items with what individuals want and when they need it. For example:

These organisations are not owned, connected to or endorsed by DVSM – simply examples amongst many which can be identified online. DVSM cannot accept any responsibility for your selection or experience in donating items to other organisations.
